Christmas

I'm going to Florida on Tuesday. I'm looking forward to the trip - it should be fun. I'm only taking 2 (hopefully 3) of the presents that I'm giving this year - the rest I had mailed to Florida (or we are picking up on the way down). I won't write what I got everyone - who knows, they might find my blog and figure out who I am! Just thought I'd share...

La dee da...

Well, my order from buy.com just shipped today - I ordered a Viking 128mb CF card for my Zaurus SL5500 ($3 after rebate!). Now I am wondering if it will be here in time for my trip (I'm leaving the 21)... I had wanted to use it to store some mp3's to listen to in the car on the way down. Ah, well... we can always hope.

On a different note, I'm looking forward to going on my New Year's Vacation - I took about a month off work and I'm gonna go visit a lot of people who are very dear to me (I LOVE YOU CARBARN!!). I am sure to enjoy it. I'm hoping to get a CF Wifi card for my Zaurus for Christmas, in which case I would be able to get on the internet (maybe even update my blog) from the airport! I need to go (I'm doing some last-minute internet Christmas shopping).

Neato... I just got invited to help out with a perl script. I'll post on how much I learn. :)

On a different note, I got to see my old English teacher today (not really old - he's 26), and that was really awesome, because I haven't seen him in about a year. Gotta run - to bed.

Gmail!!

I got a Gmail account today! Someone was kind enough to send me an invitation. Gmail is awesome. If I get any invitations to give away, I'll probly put a riddle on here and the first person to solve it will get a gmail account. So start thinking of names!! ;-)

By the way, if anybody has a spare gmail invite, I'd be much obliged if they'd send it to me...
